Celebrate the Holidays in the Delaware Beaches

From November to January, there are many events and things to do during the holiday season in the Delaware Beaches.

No matter where you are, from Rehoboth Beach to Fenwick Island, family fun abounds. Throughout the area, you’ll find several exciting attractions that all ages will enjoy. From viewing Christmas Lights to Holiday Fair’s, there’s something for the whole family.

Nov 5-6: Holiday Fair in Rehoboth

The 38th Annual Holiday Fair Fine Craft Show, to be held November 5 & 6, 2022, will feature a variety of artisans exhibiting and selling their work, including jewelry, glasswork, ceramics, mixed media, and decorative and wearable fiber creations. Patrons can stroll the campus and find artists throughout the historic Homestead, Chambers Studio, and the Corkran and Tubbs galleries to select the perfect gifts for family, friends and themselves.

Nov 17-Dec 31: Winterfest of Lights

The 2022 Winterfest of Lights will return as a walking holiday event with an even larger path route! The 2022 Winterfest of Lights will be an expanded walking tour that takes you through thousands of sparkling holiday lights and many animated light displays located along a paved path in Northside Park. Sip hot chocolate, take a photo with Santa, visit our gift shop and enjoy the array of holiday exhibits – including many surprises. Come see the 50-foot Christmas tree put on a show for you and soak up all of the holiday spirit at Winterfest of Lights. 

Nov. 24: Holiday Shoppers Fair

Join us for the 40th Annual Holiday Shoppers Fair for unique merchandise as well as handmade products, nautical, candles, photography, florals, jewelry, ceramics. Great gifts & household items. Children’s activities & face painting. Over 120 Vendors. Hosted at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center. Free parking, food court, non-shoppers lounge, etc.

Nov. 25: 8th Annual Dewey Sip and Shop

Dewey Sip and Shop is Delaware’s premiere handmade holiday shopping experience, featuring fine arts, handmade goods, DIY gift making and more.

Nov. 25: Tree Lighting and Sing-Along in Rehoboth

Kick off the holiday season with the lighting of the big community Christmas Tree Lighting & Sing-Along with Clear Space Theatre Company. Stay downtown after the event to enjoy dinner and holiday shopping with family and friends.

Dec. 3: Holiday Happenings in Bethany

The Holiday Happenings was such a success. We thank all who came out last year and hope you will be back for the Dec 3rd event.

Dec. 5: Hometown Christmas Parade in Rehoboth

Santa will be attending the 2022 Rehoboth Beach Hometown Christmas Parade, presented by the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company. Hope that you can make it too!

Dec. 10: Christmas Reflections in Rehoboth

Christmas Reflections, Capital Ringers’ Christmas show, features a selection of holiday favorites from over the years. They are beloved not only by Capital Ringer audiences but also by founder and Artistic Director Linda Simms, who is retiring at the end of 2022.

Jan. 27-29: Fire and Ice Festival

Marking its 6th year in 2023, this event’s festivities will include ice sculpture tours and demonstrations, bonfires, fireworks, music and tastings. Bundle up and come celebrate the Delaware Beaches at this unique event.
