The LHS Holiday Village & Market will bring cheer to the Lewes Historical Society’s main campus at 110 Shipcarpenter Street. Top off your visit with a cup of hot cider or a cold ale inside the historic Sussex Tavern at Rabbits Ferry House and transport to a warm refuge on a cold winter’s day in the early 1800s.
Event fee – $5.00 per person, children 12 and under are FREE.
Tickets are available at the gate.
LHS is pleased to be able to offer a new family-friendly activity at this year’s market; horse-drawn open buggies will be available to take riders on a mile-long tour throughout the historic streets of Lewistown. Each tour will be accompanied by one of the knowledgeable LHS Interpreters who will help to ensure a true historical holiday experience. For our younger revelers, a pony cart will be available for shorter excursions.
There is an additional charge for the horse-drawn buggy rides and we suggest that interested riders reserve their spot by acquiring tickets in advance. Space is limited and it is first come, first served.
Tickets are $25; children 6-12 are $10 and 5 and under are $5.
