The First Saturday in July
Starting in July 1966, St. Catherine’s Guild at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Lewes began hosting an art show. Originally a fundraising event for church projects, it has now grown into a major outreach activity for the parish. The show features a variety of art mediums and takes place on the first Saturday in July. The proceeds go towards supporting multiple community organizations, including the Community Resource Center in Rehoboth. As the show continues to evolve, its motto remains “Art that Gives.
