Stock up on fresh summer produce by visiting one of the area’s farmers markets. When you visit a local farmers market, you’re not only getting the best local goods but also supporting area growers. The Historic Lewes Farmers Market will be at George H.P. Smith Park on Saturday, Aug. 31.
Spend your Labor Day at a free concert. The 2019 Stango Park Summer Concert Series will have its final concert on Monday, Sept. 2 at Stango Park. Tydewater Band, a country band, will perform at 6:30 p.m.
Honor the Delaware soldiers who fought for our freedom during World War II at the Annual Victory in World War II Ceremony on Monday, Sept. 2. This event takes place at Fort Miles Museum Artillery Park, located at Cape Henlopen State Park.
