Don’t Miss the 2026 Lewes Garden Tour!

The 17th Annual Lewes Tulip Celebration takes place from April 1–20, 2026. This event, co-sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Lewes in Bloom, honors the town’s Dutch heritage with the display of over 31,000 tulips and 5,000 spring bulbs.

Here are the key highlights of the celebration:

• Tiptoe To The Tulips Map: Starting in late March, visitors can pick up a map at the Lewes Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center (Fisher-Martin House) or at various brochure boxes downtown. The map identifies more than 20 planting locations and includes a full schedule of activities.
• History in Bloom Walking Tours: On April 12, guided tours will depart from 110 Shipcarpenter Street at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. These tours combine Lewes’ maritime history with botanical information about the different tulip varieties. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
• Tulip Sale: Lewes in Bloom will host a tulip sale on April 18 at the Bank Street Plaza from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (or until sold out).
• Note on Timing: Organizers remind visitors that while the celebration spans three weekends, the exact timing of the blooms depends on the weather and may not perfectly align with the event dates.
