About SoDel Fest
The 5th Annual Southern Delaware Wine, Food & Music Festival (SoDel Fest) takes place Saturday, Sept. 28, from noon to 4 p.m., at the Independence Clubhouse in Millsboro. SoDel Fest is the best way to experience coastal Delaware’s dining scene. The festival offers diners a chance to enjoy a one-of-a-kind culinary experience and indulge in food and wine from award-winning chefs and winemakers.
In addition to the fantastic food, festival goers can dance to live music. The Savannah Band and Patty Blee & Sol Knopf will be at SoDel Fest performing throughout the day. Attendees can also bid on the prizes during the silent auction and play to win a bottle of wine from the Wine Wall. Proceeds from SoDel Fest benefit local non-profits working to strengthen the community.
SoDel Fest Food and Wine
More than 20 of the area’s top restaurants will be at the 2019 SoDel Fest. These restaurants range from seafood and steakhouses to Italian, barbecue and more. Among the 21 participating restaurants is Lefty’s Alley & Eats, a Lewes hotspot for food and fun. The festival will also feature over 50 tastings from local wineries, breweries and distilleries. There will also be a competition between four of the participating chefs. Watch them duke it out during the Chef Throwdown.
