Even though school is back in session, a summer weekend is the perfect time to bring the whole family out for one last day at the beach.

For a just-as-refreshing break from the ocean, visit Thunder Lagoon Water Park in Fenwick Island. Cruise along the 400-foot lazy river or enjoy the water rides, slides and more at Thunder Lagoon. Let the little ones splash in the 800-square-foot kiddie pool while the older kids and adults race down the Black Hole body slide. Thunder Lagoon’s summer season sends Friday, Sept. 4.
