The month is full of fun and exciting events in the Delaware Beaches, from Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach to Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. Whether you’re searching for family-friendly events, food and drink events, live music or free festivals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Here are our top events happening in Bethany Beach, Rehoboth Beach and Lewes during December.
Dec. 4: Berlin Christmas Parade
80+ Floats, Dancers, Firetrucks, Santa and More! Join us for the largest holiday parade on the Eastern Shore. Parade starts at 7pm at The Berlin Welcome Center, then runs north to the Berlin Fire Company.
Dec. 6: Rehoboth Beach Santa Bar Crawl
1 PM – 6 PM, Rehoboth Beach. Welcome to Rehoboth Beach’s Santa Bar Crawl to benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The event will take place on Saturday, December 7th beginning at 1pm. Dress up as Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, or one of his elves, and head to Rehoboth to spread some holiday cheer as you hop from location to location. Most importantly, don’t forget a new & unwrapped toy.
Dec 6: Annual Lewes Christmas Parade
Come join us at 5pm to celebrate an old fashioned Christmas in Lewes!
Dec. 31: Dewey Beach Ball Drop
11:30pm, New Orleans Street and Route One, Dewey Beach. Dewey Beach’s New Year’s Eve Celebration. Party favors, hot chocolate, and more.
