The month of May is full of fun and exciting events in the Delaware Beaches, from Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach to Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. Whether you’re searching for family-friendly events, food and drink events, live music or free festivals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Here are our top five events happening in Bethany Beach, Rehoboth Beach and Lewes during May.
May 2: Berlin Spring Cruisers Classic Car Show
Every Spring and Fall you can hear the sounds of roaring classics as they cruise into downtown Berlin.
No charge for spectators.
May 3, 2026: Berlin Farmers Market
The Berlin Farmers Market is a vibrant “producers-only” market held every Sunday from May 3-October 25, 2026. Located in the heart of historic downtown Berlin on Main, Pitts, and Commerce Streets, it runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, rain or shine.
Visitors can browse over 50 local vendors offering fresh produce, seafood, organic meats, and artisanal baked goods. The family-friendly atmosphere features live music, a petting farm, and kids’ activities. Petting Farm: 9am – 11am. Live Music funded by a grant from the Worcester County Arts Council.
May 16: Rehoboth Beach Arts Festival
The Rehoboth Art League and the City of Rehoboth Beach have partnered again to present the City’s arts festival on Saturday, May 16, from 10am-5pm, in the downtown’s picturesque Grove Park, where artists will showcase and sell their work at the Rehoboth Arts Festival.
May 22-25: Poseidon Festival
Bethany Beaches, Poseidon Festival is bigger and better than ever! Come out to downtown Bethany Beach on May 22-25, 2026. Live sand sculpting, pirates and mermaids, island music, bubble magic, luau, Marina Science Camp and emergency meet and greet.
