The month of September is full of fun and exciting events in the Delaware Beaches, from Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach to Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. Whether you’re searching for family-friendly events, food and drink events, live music or free festivals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Here are our top events happening in Bethany Beach, Rehoboth Beach and Lewes.
Sept. 4, 18: Lewes Canalfront Park Summer Series
Thursday, Sept. 19th: Mark Taylor, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Please feel free to bring non-alcoholic beverages, chairs and food… there will not be beverages for sale. Please note: start times vary
Sept. 6: Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival
The 2025 Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival in downtown Bethany Beach will be held on September 6, 2025 from 10 am – 5 pm. This year’s event includes over 100 juried artists featuring paintings, woodwork, metal, clay, jewelry, porcelain, and more!
Sept. 6: Youth Fishing Tournament at Cape Henlopen State Park Fishing Pier
Come out to Cape Henlopen State Park for the Youth Fishing Tournament September 7th from 7am-11am. Participants must be ages 15 and up. Meet at the CHSP fishing pier. $Cost. Prizes will be awarded. For more information, email FOCHSP@gmail.com or phone 302.858.6127
Sept. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27: 2025 Bethany Beach Seaside Concert Series
The 2025 Bethany Beach Seaside Concert Series will begin June 6th and continue through October 27th! Summer concerts will take place on Thursday nights in June, July, and August at 7:30. September and October shows will take place on Saturday and Sunday nights at 6:30. The Fourth of July week is an exception with nightly events Sunday through Thursday.
Sept. 19-20: Berlin Fiddlers Convention

Sept. 26-27: Dewey’s Golden Jubilee
Join us for a weekend of fun, surf, sand and Goldens galore! We will gather together for fun but also to recognize a great cause! Morris Foundation’s Gulden Retriever Life Time Study. To include: Parading through Rehoboth Friday night. Romp on the beach on Saturday. Bonfire on the beach Saturday night.
